- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆This company had scaffolding erected at my house for five and a half weeks prior to the shoddy work they did. They inserted four chimney cowls, one of which disappeared the day after! E** S********** replaced the missing one and secured the other three. They fitted a dormer window, the noise from this window is so loud at the slightest bit of wind outside...sounds like bees or wasps, they came back and for some reason butchered the frame to put two plastic clips in it. The leak in my bedroom roof ( which was the reason I hired them) is worse , when Eric the proprietor came back he informed me that there was a problem with the guttering even though he didnt say that when they were supposedly mending the leak, he said that I would have to pay for scaffolding and labour again! My husband contacted him and very politely complained explaining that S and E Builders had not fulfilled their contract with us, Eric told him to go elsewhere and put the phone down on him. We have not heard from this company since and paid them £3000 in cash! I would strongly advise people not to use S and E Builders.By Admin, December 11, 2018
